There's no place like home for Roosevelt, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They skirted past the Aurora Greenmen 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rough Riders have posted since May 6, 2024.

Alex Geist was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. That double was his first of the season. Teddy Maccarone was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Aurora, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Roosevelt will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Greenmen: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
