Football Game Preview: Linden Lions vs. Summerville Bears + How To Watch

The Linden Lions will face off against the Summerville Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Linden had been on a five-game streak of scoring at least 31 points, but Calaveras put an end to it on Friday. The Lions were dealt a 42-12 defeat at the hands of the Red Hawks. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Andrew Juarez put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 119 yards on only 12 carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 75 yards.

Meanwhile, Summerville waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lions 49-6. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won five contests by 30 points or more so far this season.

Summerville's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Linden, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 6-3.
