Soccer Recap: Springville Takes a Loss

Springville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Salem Hills Skyhawks, falling 4-1. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Springville couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Phoenix Mark, who's now up to two this season.

Springville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Salem Hills, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Springville is set to take on their familiar foe Payson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Salem Hills will square off against rival Maple Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
