Manny Gonzalez Game Report: vs Donna

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Manny Gonzalez: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He picked up 0.5 sacks and made two total tackles (1.0 for loss), helping propel Edcouch-Elsa past Donna by a score of 20-0. We certainly expect to see more performances from Gonzalez considering he's already seeing the field as a sophomore.

Looking ahead, Gonzalez and Edcouch-Elsa will venture away from home to square off against Mission Veterans Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will enter the matchup having just beaten Mission, so the Yellowjackets will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
