            Islands was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They took  a  71-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Johnson Atomsmashers. The Sharks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Atomsmashers earlier this season, when they won  53-50.

 Islands lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Jordan Walls, who  dropped  a double-double with ten points and 12  rebounds. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  boards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Michael Cooler, who  posted five  points and ten  rebounds.
 Johnson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Favion Kirkwood, who  went 5 for 12  en route to 15 points and four  steals. The  game was  Kirkwood's sixth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was  Treshawn Robinson, who  went 5 of 11  on his way to 13  points and five  assists.
Islands' defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Johnson, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-14 record  this season.
 Islands has already played their next matchup,  a  69-46  loss against Calvary Day on the 7th. As for Johnson, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  66-55  victory against Beach on the 5th.
