Baseball Recap: Magee Takes a Loss

Magee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Raleigh Lions, falling 12-3. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Magee saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Fairchild, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Braelyn Hall also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Magee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Raleigh, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

While Magee had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
