Volleyball Recap: Brookstone Victorious

Brookstone had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Tallulah Falls Indians on Saturday.

Brookstone found their leader in sophomore Charlotte Hargrove, who had six digs and four aces.

Brookstone was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in eight consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Brookstone has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Oglethorpe County on the 9th. As for Tallulah Falls, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Stratford Academy on the 9th.
