Los Fresnos entered their tilt with San Benito on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Greyhounds with a sharp 9-2 win. Considering the Falcons have won 14 games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Los Fresnos pushed their record up to 22-3-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for San Benito, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

Coincidentally, Los Fresnos and San Benito will both be playing Veterans Memorial the next time they take the field. The Falcons will host the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Greyhounds will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
