Baseball Game Preview: Tri-Village Patriots vs. Franklin Monroe Jets

The Tri-Village Patriots will venture away from home to square off against the Franklin Monroe Jets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, Tri-Village came up short against Milton-Union and fell 7-4. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Franklin Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Emmanuel Christian Academy. That's two games in a row now that the Jets have lost by just one run.

Tri-Village's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Franklin Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Tri-Village suffered a grim 14-1 defeat to Franklin Monroe when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
