Basketball Recap: Milton-Union Bulldogs vs. Northridge Polar Bears
Milton-Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 56-46 to the Northridge Polar Bears. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-33 back in January.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jenna Brumbaugh, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Brumbaugh is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Addi Case, who went 5 for 8 on her way to 16 points.
Even though they lost, Milton-Union smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.
Jayah Martin was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 12 boards for Northridge. A?Rayiah Mclemore was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to four blocks and three steals.
