Landon Mattis was a major factor in Bendle's win over Morrice on Monday. Mattis produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
