Football Game Preview: Hinsdale Central Red Devils vs. Maine South Hawks + Official Tickets

The Hinsdale Central Red Devils will square off against the Maine South Hawks at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hinsdale Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat South Elgin 45-15. The win was nothing new for the Red Devils as they're now sitting on three straight.

Meanwhile, Maine South won against Deerfield two weeks ago with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Hawks blew past Downers Grove South, posting a 56-20 victory. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked second, while the Mustangs are ranked 151st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Maine South's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Hinsdale Central, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
