Volleyball Recap: Abbotsford Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Abbotsford won the last time they faced Mondovi and things went their way on Saturday too. The Falcons walked away with a 2-0 win over the Buffaloes.

Abbotsford easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15.

Celia Schindler paced Abbotsford's offense, picking up nine kills. Schindler got some help from Faith Sperl and her 21 assists. Sperl was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Abbotsford is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. As for Mondovi, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-17.
