Baseball Game Preview: Stadium Tigers vs. Auburn Trojans

The Stadium Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Auburn Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Auburn took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Stadium, who comes in off a win.

Stadium came out on top against Silas on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Tigers took their game against the Rams 6-1. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Ethan West looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Luca Dossetti, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Raider Pula also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Auburn's offense. They lost 11-0 to Lake Washington on Saturday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Auburn's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Stadium, their victory bumped their record up to 2-9.
