Soccer Game Preview: Rockwall-Heath vs. Longview

Rockwall-Heath hasn't had much luck against Longview recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rockwall-Heath Hawks will be playing at home against the Longview Lobos at 7:30 p.m. Rockwall-Heath will be strutting in after a victory while Longview will be coming in after a loss.

Rockwall-Heath is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand North Forney a 6-0 shutout on Friday. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Falcons are ranked 584th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Longview's offense. They came up short against Tyler Legacy on Friday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Rockwall-Heath has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four contests. Longview's loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
