Baseball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View was the 6-4 winner over Evergreen when they last played one another back in March of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Mountain Lions took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars on Tuesday. The Mountain Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountain View saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Barrett Plewes, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Evergreen, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Mountain View nor Evergreen have any future games scheduled.
