Montello had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Deerfield Demons. The Hilltoppers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Demons, so the Hilltoppers were just returning the favor.

Brooklyn O'Malley paced Montello's offense, picking up 13 kills. O'Malley got some help from Charlee O'Malley and her 12 assists.

Montello's record now sits at 8-1. As for Deerfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Coincidentally, Montello and Deerfield will both be playing Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah the next time they take the court. The Hilltoppers will head out to face the Resorters at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Demons will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
