Hingham gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They managed a 26-21 victory over the Hanover Hawks. For the Harbormen, this counts as revenge for the 35-18 win the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Hanover's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Hingham will venture away from home to challenge Abington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hanover, they will square off against Duxbury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
