Volleyball Recap: Trinity Prep's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Trinity Prep extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Michele Nolasco. The Crusaders came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the North Hills Christian Eagles with plenty of help from Nolasco, who had ten digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Trinity Prep got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-13, 20-25, 15-13.

Trinity Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Elizabeth Roche out in front who had ten digs. Those ten digs gave Roche a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chloe Sanchez, who had five digs and two aces.

Trinity Prep's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for North Hills Christian, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.

Trinity Prep has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy on the 23rd. As for North Hills Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Summerfield Waldorf on the 23rd.
