Oxford came into Tuesday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past the Sun Valley Vanguards 5-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Casen Rozich looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Oxford's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kayden Baumgardner, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Baumgardner a new career-high in RBI (two). Cam Weaver also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Oxford's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Sun Valley, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
