Softball Recap: West Boca Raton Beats Mater Lakes Academy for Their Second Straight Victory

West Boca Raton won against Ferguson on Saturday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The West Boca Raton Bulls beat the Mater Lakes Academy Bears by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulls.

Teagan O'Neill was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. She also hit two doubles, marking her first of the season.

In other batting news, Araya Brunner was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Madison Luft, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
