Johnson County piles up the points against Glascock County

The Johnson County Trojans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Glascock County 69-21 at home. That looming 69-21 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Johnson County yet this season.

Among those leading the charge was Xavier Wright, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Benvonte Murray, who scored nine points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Johnson County's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7. As for Glascock County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Johnson County will take on Wilkinson County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wilkinson County is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games. As for Glascock County, they will be playing at home against Savannah Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
