Baseball Recap: Living Word Lutheran Takes a Loss

Living Word Lutheran suffered their biggest loss since April 29th on Saturday. They came up short against the Lakeside Lutheran Warriors, falling 11-1. The Timberwolves just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Living Word Lutheran saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Weissenburger, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Living Word Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Lakeside Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Living Word Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-5 win against Brookfield Academy on the 22nd. As for Lakeside Lutheran, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Delavan-Darien on the 19th.
