Volleyball Game Preview: Nazareth Academy Roadrunners vs. Marist RedHawks

Nazareth Academy hasn't had much luck against Marist recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Roadrunners will be playing in front of their home fans against the RedHawks at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Nazareth Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past Von Steuben 2-1.

Meanwhile, Marist came tearing into Thursday's match with 13 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Shamrocks.

Marist easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-8.

Marist's victory was their 29th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-1. As for Nazareth Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-19.
