Soccer Recap: Channel Islands Plays to a Tie

On Friday, neither the Channel Islands Raiders nor the Fillmore Flashes could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Channel Islands' record moves to 1-2-2. As for Fillmore, they moved theirs to 5-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Channel Islands will be home for the holidays to greet Hueneme at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Channel Islands is facing Hueneme at the right time seeing as Hueneme is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Fillmore, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Nordhoff at 6:00 p.m. Fillmore is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.
