            Softball Recap: St. Ursula Academy Bulldogs vs. Seton Saints        
        
		
        
        
            St. Ursula Academy got themselves on the board against Seton on Monday, but Seton never followed suit. They came out on top against the Saints by a score of  4-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  7-3  back in April.
The result came thanks to  O Basil's shutout, as she gave up just a  hit and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  A Cosgray, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.  E Schauer was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.

St. Ursula Academy's win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-3. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Seton, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Ursula Academy will host Turpin  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Seton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Batavia  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
