Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Alexah Kejr and Brynleigh Firks Lead Timnath to Victory + How To Watch

After losing to Wellington the last time they met, Timnath decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cubs put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cubs.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20, 25-12.

Timnath was led to victory by Brynleigh Firks and Alexah Kejr. Firks had six digs and three aces, while Kejr had six digs and two assists. Those two assists gave Kejr a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Timnath was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in three consecutive matches.

The win got Timnath back to even at 7-7. As for Wellington, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
