Basketball Game Preview: Cocoa Beach Minutemen vs. Geneva Knights

The Cocoa Beach Minutemen just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Geneva Knights at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Cocoa Beach has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Cocoa Beach is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Cocoa: they outscored them in every quarter. The Minutemen came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 55-44 on Friday. While the Minutemen didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, on Thursday Geneva's undefeated season almost came to an end. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 80-77 win over Lake Mary Prep.

Cocoa Beach's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Geneva, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
