Recap: San Luis Obispo Tigers vs. Thousand Oaks Lancers
On Thursday, San Luis Obispo had to suffer through a rough 71-44 loss at the hands of Thousand Oaks. San Luis Obispo was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-20.
San Luis Obispo's loss came despite strong showings from Logan Missler and Joshua Chaves. Missler scored 17 points, while Chaves scored 14 points. Chaves scored a full 31.8% of San Luis Obispo's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Gomes, who scored 4 points along with 8 rebounds.
San Luis Obispo's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Thousand Oaks, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
San Luis Obispo will take on Nipomo at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Thousand Oaks' road trip will continue as they head out to face Clovis East at 11:00 a.m. on December 8th. Clovis East knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Thousand Oaks likes a good challenge.
