Baseball Recap: Garfield Heights Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Garfield Heights's offense. They came up short against the Maple Heights Mustangs on Monday, falling 11-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Garfield Heights' loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Maple Heights, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Garfield Heights will take on Bedford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maple Heights, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shaw at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
