Basketball Recap: Tucker Chwatek Key Part of a Team Effort in Huskies Win

Harbor Creek posted their closest win since January 23, 2024 on Thursday. They skirted past the General McLane Lancers 63-60. The team accrued 50 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.

Harbor Creek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tucker Chwatek, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. JT Delsandro was another key player, going 6 for 9 en route to 18 points and five rebounds.

Harbor Creek's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for General McLane, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Harbor Creek and General McLane could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Harbor Creek will face off against Girard at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday down 238 places (325 vs. 87). Similarly, General McLane (ranked 453rd) will meet Cathedral Prep (ranked 67th) at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
