            The Shoals Christian Flame will venture away from home to  challenge the Covenant Christian Eagles  at 12:00  p.m.  on Friday. Shoals Christian will be strutting in after a  victory while Covenant Christian will be coming in after a  defeat.
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Shoals Christian and Vina, and Shoals Christian kept the tradition alive. The Flame put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp  18-4 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Flame, who have now won ten matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.

 In other batting news, Shoals Christian got a  massive  performance out of  Miya Sewell, who  went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  triple. Those  two  stolen bases gave  Sewell a new career-high.  Charlee Quimby was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with four  runs, two  stolen bases,  and two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Covenant Christian lost  12-2 to Colbert Heights on Tuesday.
 Covenant Christian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record  this season. As for Shoals Christian,  the  victory snapped their losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 12-18 record.
