Wright entered their tilt with Big Piney on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Punchers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Jocelyn Umiker paced Wright's offense, picking up 12 kills. Umiker got some help from Emilie Martinez-Reyes and her 22 assists. Tara Williams and Dani Barnhurst kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Wright's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Big Piney, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Wright didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Shoshoni on the 13th. As for Big Piney, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Tongue River on the 13th.
