Brooke Point had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged out the Forest Park Bruins 6-5 on Wednesday. The Black Hawks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jordan Rendon was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Cole Adcock was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Brooke Point always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Brooke Point picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-9. As for Forest Park, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Looking ahead, Brooke Point will face off against North Stafford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Forest Park, they will challenge Charles J. Colgan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
