The Almeta Crawford Chargers are taking a road trip to take on the Sealy Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Almeta Crawford comes in on 13 and Sealy on six.
Sealy's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Almeta Crawford hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Chargers' pitchers stepped up to hand Fort Bend Willowridge a 21-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Chris Anderson made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Anderson was even better at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and two RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Aiden Hernandez looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.
