Rio Rancho faced Piedra Vista in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Rams came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 8-6. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Rio Rancho's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Piedra Vista, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-10.
