There's no place like home for Braden River, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Parrish Community Bulls on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pirates have posted since October 4, 2024.

Braden River was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 20-25, 23-25, 25-13, 15-5.

Chloe Pogoda paced Braden River's offense, picking up 17 kills. Pogoda got some help from Mia Mcguire and her 39 assists. Rilyn Stiegler and Molly Lynch kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Braden River's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Parrish Community, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

Braden River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Spanish River on the 3rd.
