Volleyball Recap: Hauser Comes Up Short

Hauser lost against South Ripley back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jets lost 3-0 to the Raiders. The Jets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-15, 25-11.

South Ripley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaidyn Gilpin led the charge by getting seven kills, six digs, and three aces. Gilpin is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Addison Seabolt, who had 18 assists and four digs.

Hauser's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for South Ripley, their record now sits at 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hauser will welcome Indianapolis Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Ripley, they will look to defend their home court on September 3 against Scottsburg at 7:00 p.m.
