Volleyball Game Preview: Cair Paravel Lions vs. Council Grove Braves

The Cair Paravel Lions will take on the Council Grove Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Cair Paravel's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Council Grove has been banged up by 15 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

On Thursday, Cair Paravel came up short against Marais des Cygnes Valley and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Council Grove also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Osage City by a score of 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11.

Cair Paravel's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Council Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 0-16.

Cair Paravel skirted past Council Grove 2-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
