Recap: Murphy Panthers vs. Davidson Warriors
The Murphy Panthers pushed their score all the way to 66 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Davidson by a score of 68-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (59), Murphy still had to take the loss.
Murphy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryan Jackson, who scored 18 points along with six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Cordairus Dixon, who scored 18 points.
Murphy's defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Davidson, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.
Murphy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Davidson also has no future games currently scheduled.
