Coal City has gone 9-1 against Wilmington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Coal City Coalers will host the Wilmington Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Coal City will be strutting in after a win while Wilmington will be coming in after a defeat.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Wilmington duked it out withHerscher on Monday. Wilmington fell just short of Herscher by a score of 44-41. The Wildcats have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The win made it two in a row for Coal City and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Wilmington, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Everything came up roses for Coal City against Wilmington when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 57-28 victory. Will Coal City repeat their success, or does Wilmington have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
