Volleyball Game Preview: Sisseton Redmen vs. Sargent County Bulldogs

The Sisseton Redmen will head out to face off against the Sargent County Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Sargent County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Sisseton, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with 18 losses in a row, Sisseton turned things around against Tiospa Zina on Friday. They blew past the Wambdi 3-0. The Redmen not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Sisseton was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Sargent County came up short against Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 25-12.

Sisseton picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-18. As for Sargent County, they dropped their record down to 7-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
