Basketball Recap: Riverside Christian Takes a Loss

Riverside Christian lost against Sunnyside Christian on January 10th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Riverside Christian Crusaders were outmatched by the Sunnyside Christian Knights and fell 51-22. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 334th, while the Knights are ranked 164th).

This is the second loss in a row for Riverside Christian and nudges their season record down to 5-10. As for Sunnyside Christian, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

When Riverside Christian and Sunnyside Christian next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Riverside Christian will try to stop Yakama Nation Tribal's six-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sunnyside Christian will face off against DeSales and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
