Soccer Recap: Peabody Veterans Memorial Starts off Right with Win over Greater Lawrence Tech

Peabody Veterans Memorial took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies a 3-0 shutout. The score was close at halftime, but Peabody Veterans Memorial pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Greater Lawrence Tech now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peabody Veterans Memorial will square off against Triton Regional at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Greater Lawrence Tech, they will welcome Lawrence at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
