Baseball Recap: Cleburne Comes Up Short

Cleburne and Arlington Heights squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Cleburne had to settle for second. They lost 7-0 to Arlington Heights. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Cleburne has suffered since March 18th.

Cleburne's defeat dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Arlington Heights, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 21 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9-1 record this season.

While Cleburne had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
