Basketball Recap: Sunny Hills Extends Winning Streak to Three

Sunny Hills entered their tilt with Rancho Alamitos on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Vaqueros 57-39.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sunny Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kruz Sandle, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. Thanks to that strong game, Sandle now owns an excellent 50% shooting accuracy. James Arada was another key player, putting up ten points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Sunny Hills smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Sunny Hills now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Rancho Alamitos, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Sunny Hills and Tustin will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Rancho Alamitos, they will be taking part in a tournament against Garden Grove on Wednesday.
