Volleyball Recap: Howell Comes Up Short

Howell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Williamston Hornets. The Highlanders were not able to make up for their loss to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Howell's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Williamston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5-4.

Coincidentally, Howell and Williamston will both be playing Farmington the next time they take the court. The Hornets will head out to face the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Highlanders will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
