Basketball Game Preview: Richford Falcons vs. Northfield Marauders

The Richford Falcons will venture away from home to face off against the Northfield Marauders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Richford is coming into the game hot, having won their last eight games.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Richford beat Twinfield 41-36.

Meanwhile, Northfield came up short against Williamstown on Monday, falling 58-34.

Richford pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points per game. As for Northfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Everything came up roses for Richford against Northfield when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 54-27 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Richford since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
