Volleyball Recap: Brooklyn Cherney's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Cedar Grove-Belgium over Sheboygan Christian

If Cedar Grove-Belgium was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Ozaukee on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rockets came up short against the Sheboygan Christian Eagles on Thursday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rockets have suffered since September 9th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-15.

Cedar Grove-Belgium's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooklyn Cherney, who had 14 digs. Jolie Bialzik was another key player, getting ten assists and eight digs.

Sheboygan Christian was led to victory by Brielle Claerbaut and Lydia Neeb. Claerbaut had 11 digs and two assists, while Neeb had four digs and two aces. That's the most assists Claerbaut has posted over her last six matchups.
