Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Heritage Christian

Heritage Christian had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They strolled past the West Lutheran Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 70-53. Given Heritage Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 104th, while West Lutheran is ranked 361st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Heritage Christian has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.8 points per game. As for West Lutheran, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Heritage Christian has already played their next match (against United Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Lutheran will welcome Spectrum at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Spectrum will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something West Lutheran surely won't give up without a fight.
